Kubotek KeyCreator is a 3D CAD application for designing 2D and 3D models. The student version can be used for free, and is great for 3D printing and exporting the model as STL file (the file type used in 3D printing). Student CAD Software licenses will be active for one full calendar year beginning August 1 - July 31 and you may request licenses for successive years.
